It is obtained from the seeds of the Indian fig (prickly pear), with up to 500 kg of fruit and approximately 1 million seeds required for 1 liter of oil. The result is a rare, 100% pure, organic and cold-pressed oil that is full of essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals.

What makes prickly pear oil unique?

It contains up to 90% essential fatty acids (more than 60% omega-6 linoleic acid).

It is the richest natural source of gamma-tocopherol (the most active form of vitamin E).
