Masticha Original is genuine and pure mastic with a protected designation of origin PDO from the Greek island of Chios. It is not mixed with any other ingredients.

Masticha Original, prepared in capsule form, is convenient to use and dosed accurately according to the recommended daily dose.

Several scientific studies are currently underway to investigate the possible effects of Chios mastic on high cholesterol, blood sugar levels, diabetes and stomach ulcers. After assessing these scientific studies, the European Commission approves specific health claims that can be used in the EU for natural substances.

According to Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006, the European Union does not allow health claims that have not been approved to be made on our website. In accordance with this regulation, we are only allowed to use a health claim that describes Chian mastic as a substance that “supports the health of the stomach and digestive tract”.

Masticha Original is suitable for people who are interested in pure mastic without additives. Contains 100% Chian mastic.

Dosage

For cholesterol problems:
First package: 2 tablets of Masticha Original 3 times a day
After the first package, you can continue with the dosage or reduce the dose to 2 tablets per day.

For other problems: 2 capsules 3 times a day before meals

Dosage for minors:

not suitable for children under 3 years of age

children from 4 to 5 years of age, pregnant and lactating women: only after consulting a doctor

children from 6 to 10 years of age: 1 capsule daily

children from 15 years of age and older: recommended dosage 3×2 capsules (standard dosage)

Mastic capsules are used as a dietary supplement at least 20 minutes before meals.

Warning
Some clients have pointed out that the powder in the Masticha Original capsule has hardened. Since we do not use anti-caking agents or preservatives in production, mastic, as a 100% natural resin, can become sticky at higher temperatures.

This does not have a negative impact on the quality or effectiveness of the product. In case of sticking, we recommend pressing the capsule with two fingers and crushing it before use, or opening it and gently crushing the resin.

If you want to avoid this problem, we recommend Masticha Active, which is more effective and, thanks to probiotic strains, does not stick in the capsule even at higher temperatures.

Storage
Store mastic capsules in a dry place at a temperature of max. 25 °C in a closed container.

Warning
Children under 6 years of age and pregnant and lactating women can use mastic only after consulting a doctor. Caution is required if you have low blood pressure or are taking medication to lower it.

We do not recommend Chios mastic for people with an allergy to resin.
