The Activstar UVC bottle uses an integrated UVC LED chip that emits wavelengths in the 270-280 nm range. This technology is commonly used in water treatment systems and is activated by touching the bottle screen for two seconds. In approximately three minutes, the UVC cycle supports water disinfection without the use of chemicals or additives. For safety reasons, the system automatically switches off if the cap is not properly attached.

A key advantage of using a bottle is reducing your dependence on disposable plastic bottles. Research has highlighted the presence of microplastic and nanoplastic particles in bottled water, raising environmental and quality concerns. Charging is simple and convenient via micro USB. A full charge takes approximately four hours and lasts up to seven days of use under normal conditions. The touchscreen is designed to be shockproof and waterproof, making the bottle suitable for everyday use.
